If there is one thing I can say about myself, it’s that my workouts have been consistently inconsistent. Approximately 6 months ago, I made a decision to “start again” by trying to eat healthy and begin a solid workout routine. I managed decent results on my own but wanted to take it one step beyond. I didn’t have the knowledge and asked around. Damien came highly recommended to me and did not let his reputation down. He has helped me lose weight/fat and add muscle. He also helped me plan out my meals; he just explained which foods where better and why and then confirmed if I was going in the correct direction. I am very pleased with my results, I have better posture and I’m significantly stronger than when I started out. Without Fitness1on1 I have no doubt I would never of achived the results I have now.

At the age of 38 I decided I had better start getting some form of regular exercise. I had never ‘darkened the door’ of a health club in my life and I was terrified. I decided I would need a trainer or I would be too intimidated to go and would just end up wasting my money. Then I met Damien. He assessed my fitness level and got me on a regular program of fitness. He asked a lot of questions about my family history, my eating habits and lifestyle. I could tell he really likes helping people achieve their goals. While I wasn’t really trying to lose weight, I can say with certainty my body has never looked or felt better. Damien’s workouts are challenging, yet he doesn’t push you to do things you feel uncomfortable about. He knows exactly when it’s time to change things up and always keeps it fun. Thanks to Damien, I am no longer dreading turning 40 next year.

I have a hectic and unusual job schedule, which allowed me little time to work out or eat regularly. I started working out with Damien Mockus in August of 2006 after having my second child. I was interested in fast results because of an upcoming vacation with my husband to Cancun. Damien was extremely knowledgeable about the importance of nutrition and diet. He shared with me how to eat and shed body fat through a unique measurement and tracking program. It was exciting to see my body fat drop while also building muscle tone. I have worked out with other trainers in the past and must say that Damien is one of a kind. He constantly mixes up workouts and customizes the routines to your body and target areas. I could not get the same workout on my own. He’s honest and motivational at the same time.
